This automation suite connects Shopify webhooks, a local warehouse management system, and the client's courier API. Orders trigger a complete processing pipeline without human intervention.
Problem Statement & Challenges
Client was processing 800+ orders/day manually across 3 platforms. Each order took 4 minutes of manual data entry. Errors caused 5% return rate and damaged seller reputation.
System Architecture & Engineering
BASHShopify webhook → FastAPI endpoint → Validation layer → PostgreSQL order queue → Courier API dispatch → Telegram notification to warehouse manager
Key Results & Outcomes
- Processing time cut from 4 min to under 2 min (automated)
- Error rate dropped from 5% to < 0.1%
- Eliminated 3 data entry roles (BDT 1.5L/month savings)
